SPS S-UV

The SPS S-UV is a highly efficient UV curing conveyor dryer that can be combined with fast running SPS cylinder screen printing machines. The dryer is equipped with a “drop-down” belt segment in order to access the screen printing machine sheet exit side. An IR top with 3 medium wave twin tube gold reflector IR rods is placed over the dryer inlet thus improving varnish flow. The 2 m section contains 2 UV lamps with high power of 170 W/cm each. The reflector housings have individual air cooling and will keep the UV lamps exact at the desired temperature. Underneath the reflector IR quartz glass filters prevent excessive heat transfer to the passing sheets. Each lamp is controlled by electronic power units and can be set between 30 and 100% output level. The SPS “smart UV” will automatically reduce the lamp power in case of longer printing machine stops. Direct after the 2 UV reflector units a 1 m sheet cooling segment, using high pressure ambient or refrigerated air, ensuring a workable sheet exit temperature. The dryer is controlled by HMI with simple to understand setting of all dryer functions – your UV solution for your fully automatic screen printing line!
