On June 11th, at 6pm DRUPA (finally) closed their doors. The SPS® sales team worked non-stop throughout the whole show. 14 long - but rewarding days.
Visitors from all over the world came to Düsseldorf, Germany, to see the latest developments in the graphic industry. Never before so much interest in the print finishing techniques that can be achieved using screen cylinder machines was seen. The SPS® stand was crowded with visitors from finishing houses, offset printers, flexo printers and customers from the packaging industry. The flagship on display, the SPS® VITESSA SL, was in the focus of the visitor's interest because of its many features, increasing productivity, reducing rejects and greatly improving operator conditions. During life demos, running the press at 4000 iph, crowds assembled around this production line.
Also, the SPS® VITESSA XP model in a new "face lift" version was looked at with great response. The new EP feeder with advanced feeder head especially eases feeding of laminated stock at high speeds.
Many orders were booked, coming in from all corners of the globe. In addition, for the next couple of months, the international SPS® team will be working hard to follow up on all sales leads that were received.
